Biography

Dr. Judy Kawamoto has been an administrator at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island for the past 17 years,and currently supervises the Office of Campus Engagement (which includes student organization advisement, Greek Life, leadership programs and major campus events, as well as the Fisher Student Center). She also coordinates Bryant’s Orientation programs for first year and transfer students, serves on several campus-wide committees, and adjudicates student discipline cases. Prior to her time at Bryant, she held positions at Central Connecticut State University and The University of Akron. She is active in NASPA, and currently serves as the Asian Pacific Islander Knowledge Community Chair for Region 1. Both her Bachelors and Masters degrees are from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and she holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
