Why does being called “privileged” make people so angry? Can you be black and still be privileged? Can you be a woman and still be privileged? We’ll explore various identities, and whether or not the experience of the oppressed is nullified through certain social advantages. We’ll hit on an important topic, intersectionality, which isn’t discussed often enough, even though it’s the dichotomy of social labels that create different experiences for everyone, some being better off, and some being worse off.
